After sleeping for 39 years, the God of destruction Beerus is surprised to learn that Frieza was defeated by the saiyajin Goku. Upon finding him, Goku is excited to face him, but realizes that his powers are negligible compared to Beerus.
Frieza is reborn and achieves the last of his transformations, and it is up to Goku and his warrior friends to join forces to fight the enemy who has returned from the dead.
